Positive: My husband and I spent a few wonderful days at ONYX Park Resort in Ubud, and it really stole our hearts. The resort just opened, so it has this fresh, relaxed vibe that makes you instantly feel welcomed and comfortable. We loved hanging out by the pools, surrounded by lush greenery, and sipping coffee on the terrace — it felt romantic without being cheesy or over the top. The rooms are stylish and super comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Kitchenette gave us freedom to cook when lazy and made it easy to grab a bite whenever we wanted. Breakfast was a real treat — a buffet with lots of options: Asian, European, halal—you name it. There’s something for everyone. The location in Tegallalang is perfect — only about 5 minutes by car to Ubud Palace and the markets, and close to Monkey Forest too. The famous Tegallalang rice terraces are just a short 15-minute drive away. We loved how easy it was to explore but then come back to peace and quiet. Only minor snag—the quiet hours are strict from 10 PM to 8 AM, so if you love late-night chats or music, you might want to keep it low or move to the lobby bar. Service was fantastic — spacious rooms with beautiful views, cozy common areas, and great restaurants. Multiple pools were a bonus too. It felt like a little luxurious hideaway where you can truly relax and enjoy Bali with someone special. We are leaving with wonderful memories and will definitely come back.
